I am a moderator for a fledgling support forum trying to do my part to help the admins.
we split off from a thriving forum due to a abundance of conflicts with egos and differences in opinions.
my question is simply ,now that we have established a new forum with our own set of guidelines and new administration how do we build a membership base? how to get out the word about us?we currently have 24 members of which there are about 10 active on a regular basis. any advice would be appriciated

How and why to build an online community

This website is in it's third effort as a community. The first was a move of 15 or so members split off of the old builder.com "Buzz" forum. Their own community when builder.com merged with another website after being purchased by another company. The website became commercial, charging a subscription for participation. This did not sit well with many long time members.
